Only a few blocks away from Jupiter NEXT, you'll find Cup & Bar, a very PNW-inspired cafe with inventive light dishes served with Trailhead Coffee Roasters & Ranger Chocolate Company products. From Katie: "Here's a hot tip -- you HAVE to try their Lemon Ricotta Avocado Toast. It's the best in Portland, period. Maybe the world."

DAVID M. LOVES PRINCE COFFEE

Located right next to Portland sweethearts Pips Original Donuts & Chai, Prince Coffee is a Dutch inspired specialty coffee shop serving fresh stroopwafels and coffee from local roasters. Did you read that? Fresh stroopwafels!!! Get your taste of Holland in the Beaumont District around NE 45th and Fremont.

JAKE B. LOVES HEART COFFEE

Heart Coffee Roasters are a local chain of three cafes serving their very own Heart Coffee beans. Jake loves it because Heart Coffee offers epic roast options and serves delicious local pastries. With three cafes (one east of the hotel on E Burnside and NE 21st), you'll have plenty of opportunities to visit Heart on your next walk around Portland.

IAN M. LOVES SWEETPEA BAKING CO

Sweetpea Baking Co & Cafe on SE 12th and Stark has some gorgeous monster artwork on its building, so it's hard to miss when you're out and about in that neighborhood. Plus, all of their incredible bakery options are 100% vegan! And when we say that you wouldn't know it, you had better believe it! Grab a coffee at the cafe, peruse their seemingly endless bakery offerings, and find it in yourself to make a decision on what delicious daily doughnut treat to take with you!

EDEN C. LOVES GOOD COFFEE

We're with Eden when it comes to loving "good coffee." With the aptly-named Good Coffee cafes around Portland, you're treated to a stunning minimalist aesthetic while you bask in the brewed glory of their self-roasted beans. It's hipster heaven, that's for sure. Check out their nearby location on SE 12th and Salmon St. for some of the best brews that Portland has to offer!

ANDREW R. LOVES NEVER COFFEE LAB

Never Coffee Lab is a colorful café and roaster on SE 42nd and Belmont St known for deliciously innovative drinks and coffee blends like their new release, "Flowers," which is described as "a floral chorus of chamomile and elderberry petals dance with lemon-lime acidity and finish with a bite of milk chocolate." Sounds pretty wild... just how we like it!

Only a couple blocks away on NE Couch St and 7th Ave, Happy Cup Coffee is handcrafted by people with potential; adults with developmental disabilities who want to lead productive lives. Each batch-roasted, hand-crafted coffee is lovingly made by a team full of folks who have aged out of special education programming but who want to make a big difference in this world -- and they're doing it through seriously great coffee!

NICK P. LOVES GRENDEL'S COFFEE HOUSE

Right across the street, you'll find an awesome cup of coffee (or cap, latte, etc.), delicious made-to-order custom breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and a great atmosphere for hanging around or grabbing your goods to go. Plus, they always have a wonderful selection of local bagels, cream cheese (of course), and so much more. It's a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or really any time of day!
