Chinese Festival 2022 | August 6, 2022

We are so obsessed with the vendor lineup at this year's Chinese Festival in Pioneer Square! Mandarin House is bringing the pork buns and dumplings, you'll find skewers from Great Tang, and you can even get a close-up of China's incredible authentic tea culture with Ms. Liu. Delicious treats aside, you'll see dance, vocal stylings, hands-on crafts, and so much more. The festival takes place downtown at Portland's Pioneer Square - right in the center of everything!

BBQ & Brews | August 12-14, 2022

We LOVE barbecue, beer, and helping out the Special Olympics on top of it! Soak up the sun while enjoying beer, cider and spirits along with some delicious BBQ at Washington-Monroe Park not far from Jupiter NEXT & Jupiter Original hotels. Live music will be playing all weekend long, but honestly just hook us up with some pulled pork, and we'll be happy!

India Festival 2022 | August 14, 2022

In honor of India's Independence Day, head back down to downtown Portland's Pioneer Square for free live music, dance, food and entertainment throughout the day. And of course, it wouldn't be on this list if it didn't feature the best of the Rose City's Indian cuisine! You'll see us hunting down some delicious palak paneer, biriyani, samosas... and we'll top it off with a lassi or two!

Viking Beer Festival | August 20, 2022

Okay, yes, it's a beer festival. But beer is food, too, right? Just kidding (kind of). Portland's newest Nordic festival with actual re-enactors (yes, like actual dudes dressed like Vikings), Nordic food from Broder Soder, and live performances with music and aerial work. We love an Eric Northman from True Blood vibe, so yes, we will be there with braids on!

Burger Week | August 15-21, 2022

We are about to go absolutely ham for burgers during Portland Mercury's Burger Week this year. There's something so summer about a hot, sloppy burger and a cold drink on a patio anywhere you are. A TON of Portland restaurants are putting out their best and sometimes weirdest burger creations for only $8! See how many you can try... but not all at once!
