THE FEAR PDX

We're starting this list off strong with arguably Portland's "Scariest Haunted House," The Fear PDX. This multi-attraction location features all-new haunts in a factory, a fun house, a self-described extreme attraction, and an elevator to hell. "Something terrible is happening here."

UNDERHILL HAUNTED HOUSE

In walking distance of Jupiter NEXT, the Underhill Haunted House at the Memorial Coliseum brings a collaboration between the team behind The Beneath and the sinister minds of Fearlandia. With a whole slew of new attractions including Fear's Gate (taking place at the fictional Nufear's Antigen Co.), Night Terrors (dare to enter a twisted collection of dreams, phobias, and nightmares), and Underhill Manor (a Victorian labyrinth filled with cursed objects and lost souls. Enter if you dare...

MILBURN'S HAUNTED MANOR

Milburn's Haunted Manor invites you, no, dares you to come to their house. Located in the Willamette Valley, a short drive from Portland proper, this country setting adds to the spookiness of the attractions with a moonlight pumpkin patch, the haunted manor itself, and The Dark, a maze with complete darkness where only ghouls and zombies can see (not recommended for folks with claustrophobia... duh...). Afraid of the dark? Don't worry, you won't go through it alone.

SCAREGROUNDS PDX

Oaks Park, Portland's best fairground and carnival, gets a terrifying takeover with Haunted Atrractions taking over the Midway. Grimthorne Manor invites both brave and foolhardy to step foot inside a decrepit ruin of a once-grand estate; In Evilution, a meteor carrying an unknown organism stalks the streets; and if you think you're safe between haunted houses, beware of The Condemned, dark denizens of the wilderness who are fixin' to have you fer supper (cue the Deliverance banjo theme)!

BELLA ORGANIC HAUNTED CORN MAZE

Get lost in the acres of corn as terrifying masked creatures stalk you through the Haunted Corn Maze at Bella Organic Farm on Portland's Sauvie Island. This year's maze is inspired by the movie Halloween (Michael Myers... have you heard of him?), with a dash of zombies and a sprinkle of gouls and goblins for good measure. You may also find yourself in a whole new kind of Upside Down, but be sure not to get caught in the fridge when you reach the Butcher Shop. Plus, they're offering group rates, so you can get scared with all your favorite friends! Make sure you invite at least a couple of slow ones...
