ART IN THE PEARL FINE ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL | SEPT 4-6, 2021

The Art in the Pearl annual Fine Arts & Crafts Festival occurs every year on Labor Day weekend in the Pearl District’s North Park Blocks. The Festival is free and requires no tickets for entry. Art In The Pearl has been named one of the top 10 Arts and Crafts Festivals in the country and fills the Northwest Portland Park blocks with art, theater, music, and hands-on activities for people of all ages.

ROSE CITY COMIC CON | SEPT 10-12, 2021

Portland’s premier pop-culture event, Rose City Comic Con is produced locally with a focus on creating a fun and friendly event for everyone.

While its primary focus is that of comics, comic creators and the creative process, Rose City Comic Con also provides its attendees with access to gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, fantasy and everything in between. Its goal is to provide you with a rewarding, fun and family-friendly event experience. And it's at the Oregon Convention Center, an easy 10-minute walk from the hotel!

TIME-BASED ART FESTIVAL AT PICA | STARTING SEPT 16, 2021

Modeled after international contemporary arts festivals in cities like Edinburgh and Adelaide, TBA is orchestrated by the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA). Installations and performances take over Portland’s theaters, galleries, warehouses and public spaces, while workshops and talks keep the arts going almost nonstop. GEEKCRAFT EXPO | SEPT 25-26, 2021

GeekCraft Expo is a curated craft market specializing in handmade, “geek”-themed crafts of all kinds; clothing, accessories, toys, home decoration, furniture, art . . . if it’s geeky and made by hand, it can be found at a GeekCraft Expo. Cosplay is highly encouraged and admission is free (you just need to pre-register). And, it's also at the Oregon Convention Center, only a 10-min walk from the hotel!
